Pynskhemlang praised by Julbenson. In April 2015, Pynskhemlang Niangti or Pyns, fondly called by everyone, demonstrated his passion and his dedication to his work on Creative projects (Motion graphics) when he canceled his planned leave and was even working late into the night with no complaints or any sign of frustration. He has a firm "Can do" attitude! I know this for the fact that the customer he was working with at the time was an extremely particular person as he was very detail oriented and demanding. After all, he possesses a range of skills ranging from Creative direction, Music production, Adobe Creative Suite, Sound design, Video production and Graphics design. In other words, Pyns is working with a customer who is a master himself in his own right and to have delivered the high–quality result, which the customer appreciated profusely, is nothing short of a miracle! I am very thankful, really motivated and inspired to see you with this attitude. Wish we have more like you to lead us with examples. Keep the passion burning brighter dude! YOU ROCK!

Memorable moments of 2015. During my training in the Accounts department, there was a day when the phone rang, and Ibanshanlang asked me to pick up the call. I resisted, felt nervous and told him I wouldn't pick up. He did it himself which resulted in silence in the room for hours after. But as time passed, with the "push and pull" of my teammates, I felt that I am more confident to handle calls coming in and was even able to give a presentation during the Family Orientation Day held in Chillibreeze. I would like to thank Lovina Shangpliang, Elvin Steward Kharpuri and Ibanshanlang Chyne who have been my most reliable support to build a fresher like me and now I am ready to learn more and more and develop my career here.

On his plan ahead. What I am looking to accomplish over the coming days is to work independently when it comes to working in After Effect video projects. I aim to excel and have the confidence to be able to complete any customer projects with best quality output than what it is now. To accomplish this, I will need to do thorough learning on my own free time and exercise my skills to dig deep and learn more. Read more about Pynskhemlang's story here.

Explanation of the word "Kaizen." The word Kaizen originated from a Japanese word which means "Continuous improvement." Japan is a country which is prone to earthquakes, yet it is still a developed country. How can they be tagged as a developed nation with the frequent and intense shocks in the background? And that is where Kaizen made all the difference. Personally, I feel this is what keeps them in a challenging mindset. Improvement is not enough, but continuous improvement is what keeps the momentum growing. This is an important lesson that the Japanese have taught us where we learn to overcome insurmountable odds with discipline and sheer determination. So let us pull our sleeves and face whatever comes.

Sharing her thought on the word "Kaizen." Andrew Fancon has already explained Kaizen, and I am particularly influenced by it as "Kaizen" is all about big results coming from many small changes accumulated over time. It is important to note that Kaizen is a way of thinking, not a project to complete. So we need to adopt Kaizen in all spheres of our lives so that we may grow, learn and progress. So let’s start with small improvements. I have already started working on my communication skills and am determined to improve my ability to communicate. No one is perfect, but no one is weak either! If we think we can then why not?
