To get a job in Chillibreeze is not easy; it is like trying to join the Army! Why the comparison? It’s because Chillibreeze does not settle for mediocrity but prefer people who are ready for challenges, have high expectations and love to learn.
I want to share a short story of my journey of how I found the right fit role at Chillibreeze, and it goes like this…
I was meant to be a part of Chillibreeze “I guess.”
6 years ago, I applied for the post of PowerPoint Designers. After a few days, I got a call from the HR informing me that I will be joining the training. It was one of the happiest days of my life, as I needed a secure job with a good salary to support my family.
I joined thinking it would be like any other training I had gone through before, where they showed and explained to us what to do and then ask us to do it. Then we would be examined and placed accordingly in a role suitable to our capacity.
“BUT” this was not the case in Chillibreeze.
As Chillibreeze believes in the 90/10 concept, the expectations were high.
90/10 is, 10% comes from the company, and 90% comes from you. Meaning, the company will provide you the platform, resources, and guidance so you can learn and grow, and serve customers. But you must do your part by taking and utilizing those opportunities as much as you can.
I struggled a lot trying to catch up with the rest of the trainees. I stayed late to practice so I would learn more. The mentors helped and guided me as they saw that I was determined and eager to learn. But, I could not meet the expectations, so they had to discontinue my training. I was not fit for the role.
It is often said, “Chillibreeze is not for everyone.” I did not get at first why they said that, but once I joined the company, I understood why. The experience I had, even though for a short period, I could feel that it could have been an excellent place for me.
I was incredibly in love with Chillibreeze's work culture, and I kept writing an email to the HR, asking for any other options and told the HR that I will work any job that they give me.
3 years later, I was busy in my other work, when I received a phone call from the HR department. I was overjoyed when they offered me the job as an Office Assistant and asked me to join on the 8th of March 2016.
They gave me a list of responsibilities and trained me on what I should do. I promised myself that I would do whatever it takes to excel and be here.
Working in this new role build my confidence and I learned and picked up things quickly. Once I knew what I had to do, and started doing well, I knew this was the right fit for me.
After 3 months of being in the Office Assistant team, I got the opportunity to take on the Administration role.
At first, I felt it was something that I could not do, but Chillibreeze believes in releasing the potential of people, and they saw my hidden potential when I could not see in myself.
I faced a lot of uneasy challenges, and this has helped me to be more mature. I learned many new things that I never realized that I could do, and this knowledge will be with me till the end of my life.
Chillibreeze molded me to become a good public speaker where I realized that it is one of my biggest strength. I thank GOD for blessing me to be a part of Chillibreeze where it is not only about financial satisfaction but helping me upgrade my skills and abilities and providing a platform to showcase my potential.
As I mentioned in the beginning, it is not easy to get a job in Chillibreeze. It will always be the same because we believe,
Not Mediocre but those who strive for Excellence.
Where each person is given the right role to excel and stay motivated every single day for which mediocrity will never set in.
