Christmas is a beautiful time of the year when lots of warm wishes are exchanged, and a spirit of joy fills the air. This year too we celebrated Christmas with the Chillibreeze family - all the employees of Chillibreeze and its units.
The theme was ‘Red Christmas’
On 18th December 2021, we were all well dressed and gathered at the Campus (one of our facilities). Our units from Zizira, Muezart, Tiny Cabins, The Regenerative Farm, and 7000 Steps came together and celebrated this event. It is the only time of the year when we all get a chance to be together.
The theme for this event was a Red Christmas, and yes, all who attended the event had something red on them.
The entrance towards the stage for the event was decorated beautifully with sparkling lights, decorations, and pine leaves. It looked incredible, especially during the night-time. When one walked through it, you felt ushered in with warmth.
Kicked-started With a ‘Dance Along’
The entire day was packed with many special programs, and was kick-started by a ‘Dance Along’. Donovan showed us some dance moves for all of us to follow. It sure got us all excited for the event.
Farewell to Lovina Shangpliang
We also conducted a special Farewell for Lovina Shangpliang. She was one of the most loyal, gritty, and humble team members, and had been with us for over 15 years. We chose to give her this special farewell as she had impacted many lives and had been part of us throughout. She made a difference not only to Chillibreeze but to all its units too.
We surprised her by inviting her family members too, and she was overjoyed to see them. Our CEO, Ralph Budleman, Joanna, Chan, Steward, Pynshai, and Dolcey, gave lovely farewell speeches for Lovina. In turn, Lovina, too, gave a heartfelt speech. Our CEO learned something new about farewell from her, not to say goodbye but to say, ‘until we meet again.
Exciting Programs Followed
It was then the time for some fun events. There was a Talent Show in which we had hidden talents on display - terrific dances and songs were presented. We had a panel of three unique and talented judges to help identify the winners and they were Joanna Budelman, Andy Lyngdoh, and Kevin Jyrwa.
It was a thrill to see what amazing talents the team had. Some were singing beautiful Christmas songs, and some were exhibiting their creative dance moves on stage!
There was then a ‘Ramp Walk’ – to choose Mr. and Ms. Claus. We had beautiful ladies and handsome gents walk the ramp, full of confidence and energy.
The Winners of the Talent Show were:
1st Prize: Admin Team
2nd Prize: Pynbhalang Lyngdoh
3rd Prize: Donovan Diengdoh
After all the competition was over, we cut the Christmas cake.
The prizes were then distributed, and our CEO shared a special Christmas and Thanksgiving message. The grand finale was the Christmas exchange of gifts from Santa Claus.
Luckily that day we had two Santa Clauses visit our event and they distributed gifts to the employees.
We ended our day with many pictures being clicked, a lavish lunch, and an awesome jam session.
It was a grand Christmas celebration that is bound to create memories of a lifetime for all.
