September 2015, a month of fun activities of games, singing, dancing and much more as the HR organizes an event called, "The Chillibreeze Month."
This is the time of year where we see team members with high spirits competing in the different events.
The staff divided into different groups were very competitive, and no one wants to lose. The sheer amount of fun they had, was seen on their faces.
Here is a glimpse of our month...
We started with small activities like Spoon Race, Carrying the Basket, Sack Race and Lifting a Can with a Spaghetti. The competition was so fierce and intense. But both winners and losers had a smile on their faces at the end of the day.
We were seizing each moment with laughter and appreciation.
The following week we had activities like the Hula Hoop, Scavenger Hunt, and The Two-legged race.
We played these games while dressing ourselves in a costume using only the famous Khasi traditional outfit "Jaiñ-kyrshah."
It was just awesome!
The third week was Sports Day!
Everyone was excited, especially the boys, we have a lot of football fans, and they can't wait to get their boots dirty on the football field and to score some goals.
The boys played some hardcore football this year while the girls cheered for their team on the sidelines.
A little envious of the boys having all the fun, the girls decided to play some football where they only shoot to score.
It was a sight; I will never forget. Shooting a ball with sandals or casual shoes and not missing the goal.
It was just WOW! It reminded me a little of the movie "Bend It Like Beckham."
We ended Chillibreeze Month with the Singing Competition followed by a jam session in our office campus.
We had a traditional theme where everyone was looking sharp in their cultural attire.
Who knew, we had a lot of singers!
Enjoying live music and listening to the beautiful voices of the team members was a great way to end the special event.
We have this event yearly, and it is the team most anticipated event.
