Chillibreeze Inspire Course
Last year (2020), when the Covid-19 virus surged across the world, everyone had to adapt to the new normal, which is functioning normally by maintaining social distancing, wearing a mask, and connecting virtually.
Lucky for us, Chillibreeze adopted a Microsoft tool named Microsoft Teams in the year 2018, so connecting virtually through video calls and emails was not an issue for us. But we faced another problem, we were growing, and we needed more people to cater to our customer's needs.
We had to recruit!
With the lockdown, the safety protocol measures, we were worried. How do we create a recruitment process where we can abide by the safety measures.
We set up a network and created a syllabus for this course. As PowerPoint was our core, we decided to give short courses on PowerPoint – we added learning the Basic of PowerPoint Tool as the main course.
And, as understanding and adapting to our Culture and Values are important, we added a course where people will get the opportunity to learn about Business Culture.
Purpose
The purpose of the Inspire course is to empower a radical mindset.
Our CEO, Ralph Budelman, wanted to create an educational experience for the youths sitting at home during this crisis. Ralph wanted to present opportunities where the youths can learn and develop their skills.
With this new idea, we decided to incorporate Chillibreeze Inspire Course as part of the Hiring Process.
What is Chillibreeze Inspire Course?
Inspire Chillibreeze is a one-month course where you can access different learnings that align with self-development and skills.
People in this community can access lessons on PowerPoint – Basic Tools. They will be given assignments each week and evaluated accordingly. There will also be sessions where one of our team members will be guiding some basic PowerPoint Tips and Tricks.
The Courses
People in this community are given access to the lesson on PowerPoint – Basic Tools. They will be given assignments each week and evaluated accordingly. There will also be sessions where someone from the team members will be giving guidance on some basic PowerPoint Tips and Tricks.
Another is the General Learning Course - In this category, topics from the book Conscious Business book are available, and there is also a podcast, At the Table with Patrick Lencioni.
Each week the mentors will give a topic to learn and some written assignments. At the end of the week, there will be a group discussion where everyone can share what they learned, their perspectives and cascade their knowledge.
The last section is the Culture and Value courses – In this section, there are learning content and videos about Who We Are and What We Do, our Principles, and our Stories.
At the end of each week, there is an evaluation assessment for every candidate. Here the mentors give feedback on the candidate's performance and improvement areas.
In these assessments, there is a filtration process wherein candidates who do not meet the set expectations, who do not have the eagerness to learn will be coached out from the Inspire Course.
And lastly, at the end of the month, candidates will be awarded certification for completion.
Note: Please keep in mind that completion of this course does not guarantee you a job appointment.
