Chillibreeze Organizes– ‘On Campus Placement’ for the First Time
It is business as usual at Chillibreeze, Shillong. The design division is taking rapid strides forward and our team is expanding. The process of hiring at Chillibreeze is taken seriously and the procedure we follow is meticulous. While we continue to grow, our quest for creating opportunities, changing lives and serving people remains close to our hearts. Whether it is hiring through the online process, social media, employee referral, job fair and campus recruitment, Chillibreeze is committed to its vision cum mission statement.
As a growing company, we are constantly on the lookout for people/candidates with strong ethics, willingness to learn and work hard.
Again this year Chillibreeze was invited to attend job fairs and campus placement events by different recognized training Institutes in Shillong, like ETPL, Arena Multimedia and NIIT (National Institute of Information Technology). We have attended a number of job fairs in the past, but this year we stepped out to try something we had not done before.
This was the first year Chillibreeze organized campus recruitment! We organized a campus placement for the students of NIIT, Shillong. This was a great exposure for us and a whole new experience. As we grow and expand we want to explore new ways of recruitment and create more job opportunities for the youth of Shillong. We take pride in nurturing local talent to cater to our international customers.

Chillibreeze Now a Member of the ‘Microsoft Preferred Supplier’ Program
Chillibreeze has been supporting Microsoft employees in their headquarters in Redmond, Washington USA for a few years now. Three years ago, on June, 14th 2011, Chillbreeze became a Microsoft supplier for Professional services and we received our Microsoft Vendor number.
Very recently, on 3rd Oct, 2014, Chillibreeze became a member of the ‘Microsoft Preferred Supplier’ Program!
This is a very big achievement for the company and became possible due to the collective effort and discipline of everyone in Chillibreeze. While sharing the joy, CBers reminded each other of the higher level of responsibility that now rests on their shoulders!
You might be wondering how a small company located in the hills of North East India, achieved such a record! It was not easy. It has taken team effort and time. We identified a service that our target customers were looking for and worked on delivering it professionally and our focus was (and will always be) customer satisfaction.
Result - Chillibreeze has grown steadily by word of mouth since 2005. We come to the rescue of our customers by providing fast and reliable PowerPoint formatting and design services. Customers also appreciate the value that we provide them – i.e.
- Speed – we are there when customers need us,
- Reliability – year after year our consistency of meeting deadlines shows our commitment,
- Relationship – we go the extra mile for our customers, ensuring confidentiality and delivering dependable services.
Chillibreeze has had its ups and downs. We learned from our mistakes and moved ahead. Our vision kept us going and we got stronger and stronger. Diligence, sacrifice, hard work and dedication of each staff member are the values reflected in our work. Our future is more secure because our values have created long-term professional customers. And that is also what helped us succeed at becoming a Microsoft “Preferred Supplier”.

Meet the New Appointees of Chillibreeze
In the previous sections, we shared with you, news about our hiring efforts. Find out more about the new team member’s journey at Chillibreeze… right from the time they stepped into where they are now!
Meet Hubert Fancon, Marbahun Basaiawmoit, Ibanshanlang Chyne, Cynthia Jyrwa, Nazarine Kharkongor, Banteilang Shylla, Diahun Jyrwa and Marbadondor Pohti. (Picture above)
Cynthia, Diahun, Banteilang, Marbahun, Nazarine, Marbadondor and Hubert joined Chillibreeze on 3rd March, 2014 and they are all part of Presentation and Design Services. Ibanshanlang, a new member of the Accounts department joined Chillibreeze on 12th May, 2014.

Orientation Program for Parents
This year we started inviting parents and family members of the new appointees to a social event at Chillibreeze, to help them know and understand what their children are doing.
The objective was to make this a kind of ‘orientation program’ and to share with them our vision, work culture and the values the company stands for.
We were grateful that many accepted our invitation and attended the get-together.
Here is what a few of them shared with us as they were leaving:
